Vivo X9 and X9 Plus to feature 20MP and 8MP dual front-facing cameras

Vivo introduced X7 and X7 Plus smartphones with 16-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture along with soft LED flash back in June. Now the company is all set to introduce the successors, X9 and X9 Plus smartphones later this month. Vivo has confirmed that these smartphones will feature 20-megapixel and 8-megapixel, dual front-facing cameras.

It is also expected to come with soft LED flash on the front. Lenovo was the first company to bring dual front-facing cameras in the S1 smartphone that has a 8-megapixel primary front camera that captures images and a 2-megapixel secondary front camera to analyze the depth of field information.

Later LG introduced the V10 with dual 5-megapixel front-facing cameras that has two separate lenses to capture standard 80-degree selfies or wide-angle 120 degree selfies.

According to earlier rumors, the Vivo X9 and Plus Plus smartphone are expected to pack 5.5-inch and 6-inch 1080p displays, 4GB or 6GB of RAM and Snapdragon 653 SoC. These phones are expected to be introduced at an event in China on November 17. We should get more details soon.
