Difference between Swift BIC, IBan, Routing ABA and Bank Account types
In banking system there are few codes to recognize the real owner of account, those codes are Swift BIC, Iban and some time reference numbers, so after large research i found what these things are and what is difference between them.
Swift BIC or BIC
Swift BIC or BIC both are the same thing used for recognizing bank branches, these are not secrets and available for every one, swift BIC tell central bank that in which branch account of that person is located, every branch have its own specific code in number or letters, first letters tell about city and last letters about bank location.
IBan
IBan (International banking account number) is account number generally used to recognize account personally, in most of countries bank provide Iban number to its user for receiving money in their account.
Routing Number / ABA
Routing number is 9 digit number used by US banks to identify financial institutions, ABA number is used for electronic automatic clearing houses (ACH) for online transfer and paying bills. Your ABA number may be differ from your routing number but mostly it is same as routing number.
Account Type
There are generally three main type of account, these are
- Checking
- Saving
- Business
Checking Accounts
Checking account is simple account used for normal bank activities, bank charges are applied.
Saving Accounts
Saving bank account are those account in which people earn money by placing money in there account for more then month, six month or for year, this is generally interest based money which bank gain from people who take loan from them, it is not legally allowed in many religions like Islam.
Business Accounts
Business account are used for business purposes like debits, loans etc.

Security cameras have become a pretty normal occurrence for those who appreciate them. They range from anything under £50 to around £200, depending on the quality of image as well as the services you want. D-Link is a well known brand in the world of networking and security products. The DCS-8200LH is one of their latest offerings in their security camera range.

Look and feel
Unlike other devices, a security camera is pretty much an install and forget kind of a device. The DCS-8200LH may not be the next iPhone, but it is a pretty good looking device. A bit bigger than your usual camera, it has a nice presence.
The front features the wide angle lens, a sensor in front for light, as well as IR LEDs that light up in the dark.
The side includes a slot for a micro SD card.
The back includes a micro USB slot to power it, meaning you can use any of your other charging devices to run this as well. It does come with a 2A power supply, so it may not function very well on your standard charger. Also included on the back are a status LED, a WPS button and a slot for the RESET.
The device connects to the base using a screw, and the base is pretty strong. This is one of the plus points for this device, as it is pretty stable. Other devices that we have tested often disappoint on this front.
Setup
The device can be setup using the mydlink app which can be downloaded via the Play Store or the iTunes App Store. Apps for other formats do not exist. You do need the app to set the device up, so if you don’t have an iOS or an Android, you are kind of stuck.
Once the app is downloaded, you will need to create an account to proceed.
After this, you turn on the device.
If your router comes with a WPS option, press the button on it. Then follow by pressing the WPS button on the camera. Normally this should mean that your camera will connect to your WiFi. We had a few teething problems though, and the device took a few attempts to connect properly.
At once stage it seemed connected, but the app couldn’t connect to it.
Third time is the charm, and so it was in our case, and it finally connected.
Just to be sure, we also had a go at manual set up instead of using WPS. That involves connecting to the WiFi created by the device, and then choosing your WiFi network via the app and entering the password. This one was a bit more straight forward (irony!).
Once the connection is made, you can give your camera a nick name and choose an icon for it. This is particularly useful if you have more than one of these.
The App
The app is fairly basic, and doesn’t really offer much.
You can view what the camera sees, and can adjust various settings such as motion detection, sound detection etc.
The device will record video on one of these triggers. It doesn’t actually send you notifications.
Storage
The device offers no cloud storage, and everything is stored on the micro SD card. This is great, as you don’t have to pay for any annoying subscription charges. The downside is that you have limited space, and if it runs out, the oldest one will get deleted.

The image is taken with poor/night time lighting, but it is clear that it is rather grainy. This was on the lower setting (320p).
Same image taken with the lights turned off, and the resolution set to 720p.
This time you can see all edges of the room, and can clearly see my face too. It is not the best image in the world, but you should be able to recognise faces.
Also, can you see the monkey?
Another thing to note is that you get a panoramic 180 degree view of the room rather than a traditional fish eye lens view. This is another plus for this.
3rd Party Integration
The app also allows you to add 3rd party integration. This includes Nest and IFTTT at the moment. While Nest is only useful if you have one of those devices, IFTTT integration means you can do pretty much anything IFTTT lets you. This means you can get tweets if it detects motion to get emails or texts sent to you. It can also turn lights on for you and such like.

Microsoft Re-Surfaces: Big Reveal This Wednesday

Mark your calendars and the set the alarm for this Wednesday as Microsoft makes it’s biggest reveal to date at the Surface Event. Surface’s debut back in 2012 marked Microsoft’s first try at combining it’s Windows operating system with it’s own hardware. The tech giant owned the process from start-to-finish, designing and distributing the PC and tablets itself.
Windows 10 and it’s future will dominate conversations at the event – from software to hardware. With 400 million installs so far, Windows 10 has made an impact despite persistent privacy concerns. The Windows 10 Anniversary Update rolled out in the beginning of August with significant improvements to security, privacy and productivity features. Details about the next two Windows 10 software updates, codenamed Redstone 2 and Redstone 3, are also expected. The first update is rolling out early next year in March. Changes include further customisation to the trackpad feature as well as a native blue-light reduction option similar to F.lux. Smart devices will be controlled via the new ‘Homehub’ feature and device, similar to Amazon’s Echo, complete with Cortana (a voice-activated virtual assistance program similar to Apple’s Siri).
Worry not, dear gamers – there is X-box related news coming your way, with Microsoft to announce cross-platform gaming options for the console and Windows 10.
The invite reads “Imagine what you’ll do”, so the focus appears to be on creativity. This ties in nicely with the leaked images of the new-and-improved Microsoft Paint App which has been designed to work with pen and touch as well as create 3D objects. Twitter chatter indicates that the software giant has major plans for a 3D ecosystem underway. While we will not be hearing much about the HoloLens headset, the company will allow others to create their own headsets.
Rumour has it that Microsoft is set to unveil a completed reworked Surface PC – long-gone is the kickstand! The touchscreen laptop has morphed into an all-in-one desktop Personal computer featuring a brand- new wireless keyboard as well as a new mouse. More of a Modular than a combo PC, the new Surface PC is expected to fit together like Lego pieces. This innovative should eliminate the hassle of upgrading to few clicks of components – from battery, graphics card to external components like speakers or gesture-recognition gadgets. While some have said that all computers are modular, it is a test of one’s tech skills to clean out the fan or upgrade the memory without the help of an expert. Microsoft’s focus on making computer use accessible promises a friendlier computer experience for the casual user.
With a codename like Cardinal, the expected PC is generating hype about it’s real name. Possible names for the device include ‘Surface’, ‘Surface Studio’, ‘Surface Dial’ and ‘Dial’. It has been reported that the device will ‘turn your desk into a studio’

Are Self Driving Taxis The Future?
Those booking a taxi in Pittsburgh from ride sharing firm Uber could find themselves being picked up in a driverless car. Uber have some 100 specially-designed Volvo XC90s providing driverless taxi rides in certain areas of the Pennsylvanian city as part of their trials – but the $60 billion multinational company have been beaten to the punch by Nutonomy who operate a small fleet of driverless Mitsubishi i-Mievs and Renault Zoes providing taxi rides in a 2.5 mile square area of Singapore.
The driverless taxi revolution?
Far from being some fictional notion such as the robot-driven Johnny Cabs in the ‘Total Recall’ film, driverless taxis may be with us sooner than thought. Certainly Uber drivers are expressing concern especially those operating in Pittsburgh where the trials are being undertaken: one described himself and other drivers as “like placeholders until the technology comes out”.
Uber is certainly committed to driverless technology; they run a self-driving research facility in Pittsburgh, so residents are used to seeing driverless vehicles on the roads. Their founder, Travis Kalanick, says the future of his company and all transportation lies in driverless vehicles. They’ve signed a £230 million deal with Volvo to work together on developing the technology.
Many can see a time, maybe not too far into the future, when buyers can choose a driverless car along with other types such as city car, saloon, MPV, diesel or electric powered.
Meanwhile in Singapore, Nutonomy hopes to expand its driverless fleet by 2018 and predict driverless taxis could reduce the number of cars on the roads from some 900,000 to 300,000.
With so many cars being removed from the roads, it clearly has a positive implication for the city in terms of pollution, congestion and the amount of space freed up due to less parking being required. These benefits would naturally apply to other cities and indeed trials are due to begin in London in 2017 although this isn’t for driverless taxis, more a trial by Volvo to try out driverless cars generally.
Companies such as Uber claim they’d save considerable sums of money with fleets of driverless cars.
Driverless taxis not quite human free yet
While passengers of driverless taxis report the almost eerie sight of their cab moving around as if being driven by a ghost (the steering wheel turns on its own and so forth), there is a person sitting in the car ready to step in if something goes wrong. In the case of the Nutonomy taxis in Singapore, there may be two people; one ready to intervene by controlling the car if needs be, and the other surrounded by test equipment and a computer collating data. In fact, there’s barely room for the passengers at present.
Passengers don’t have to accept a ride from a driverless taxi; in Singapore they sign up for the Nutonomy service, whereas with Uber in Pittsburgh they’re given the option of taking a driverless taxi. If they do, the fare is waived in return for effectively taking part in the trial.
Driverless tech on its way
Along with the well documented trials and research by tech giants Apple and Google, there’s a big commitment in self driving car tech by companies such as Uber who clearly believe the driverless taxi is the future. It makes sense; with over half of new cars sold in countries like the UK featuring at least some autonomous systems so pointing the way to a driverless future, it’s logical that this tech will extend to the taxi industry.

Everything We Know About Apple’s Hello Again Event
Got the popcorn ready? Tim Cook and his team of Apple wizards will reveal not one, but three new MacBooks this Thursday at the Hello Again Event. The new MacBooks will come pre-loaded with the latest version of macOS dubbed Sierra.
It’s been three long years since the MacBook Pro has been updated, so this refresh is much-needed. The world will be introduced to the a 13-inch and 15-inch Macbook Pro. The Magic Toolbar, a OLED touch bar, will take the place of function keys on the top panel of all MacBooks. This addition will allow users to create custom keys for each app and will include the Touch ID feature. Leaked photos suggest that refreshed MacBook Pro will not include the following: HDMI port, USB-A ports, MagSafe connector or an SD card slot.
The new MacBook Pro will also come with four USB Type-C ports and is killing off the MagSafe power cord functionality as well as the traditional USB ports.
