BCCI doubles Rahul Dravid's fees after he quits Delhi Daredevils job

As Rahul Dravid put to rest all debate on conflict of interest following his resignation from Delhi Daredevil (DD) and decided to continue to coach the India under-19 team for next two years, BCCI has compensated Dravid well for his loss of IPL earnings.
mid-day has learnt from reliable sources that Dravid, who was paid Rs 2.4 crore for his U-19 coaching assignment, is now going to get double the amount following the extension of his India contract.
"We have dealt with the issue and BCCI has compensated him for his loss," claimed a senior BCCI official on Saturday here.
Former member of the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA), Ramachandra Guha had mentioned Dravid's dual role and the tricky contract offered to him by the Indian cricket board in his farewell note after he quit.
