Virender Sehwag gutted over Mumbai stampede, posts series of tweets
Former India opener Virender Sehwag posted a series of tweets, after 22 people lost their lives and 39 others got injured in a stampede at the Elphinstone railway station on Friday. He wrote: "Human life is unfortunately the cheapest thing. Such a heart wrenching incident, innocent people dying even after paying taxes #Elphinstone."

He later tweeted about how security of the citizens have been ignored. "Deepest condolences to the innocent people who lost their lives in the stampede today for no fault of theirs. In the city of dreams, people travel with such high risks. Before anything else, citizens security is the need of the hour, long been ignored," he said.
