Samsung Galaxy J6 Prime & new Galaxy A9 coming to EU & other markets
Samsung has over a dozen different smartphone labels in which they sell around the world. You likely know their most popular one, being the Samsung Galaxy S9 and the soon-t0-be released Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Samsung makes those two series of phones in virtually every country they have a presence in. However, there are other devices that are made for a certain country that may value a specific price, or a specific build material, or even a specific type of hardware. Two of these devices are limited to certain countries, the Galaxy J6 Prime and the Galaxy A9 are both said coming to the European Union as well as some other markets.
Take the Galaxy A9 for example, this device was originally released in both China and Hong Kong, but now the South Korean conglomerate thinks it can sell it in some additional markets as well. This new variant is said to carry the model number SM-A920F and will become available in a number of European markets including the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Scandinavia, and possibly some others. The next on the list is actually a new variant of a current phone the company already sells.
Samsung has taken the Galaxy J6 and built a new variant called the Galaxy J6 Prime. This version will be equipped with the SM-J610F model number. Assumed benchmarks say it will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC, 3GB of RAM, and Android 8.1 Oreo. This current version is said to work around Southeast Asia while a different version (with the model number SM-J610FN) is slated for some more European countries. The last bit of information that came to us today from SamMobile includes the Galaxy J4 Core and the J4 Prime. The original Galaxy J4 is getting two new variants with model numbers SM-J410F and SM-J415F, with the latter of the two showing up on a benchmark entry showing the Snapdragon 430 SoC, 2GB of RAM, and Android 8.1.
Similarly to the other devices listed in this article, the J4 and the J4 Prime are said to be headed to various European countries and some Asian markets. We are sure to learn more about this when we get closer to their release dates as Samsung will be eager to advertise them to the public.
